Direct Patient Management System Integration - Receiving Correspondence

This is more complex than the sending part and may not be possible at the moment. Patient documents cannot be automatically added to the practice management software as Mediref, of course, does not have the patient identifier. What could potentially be done is for a folder to be nominated by a practice where new correspondence automatically gets sent. However, the complexity involved is large and the benefits small as most practices we have spoken to regarding this would prefer that they go into Mediref to download documents as and when required (vs having to continuously monitor a folder).
The requests for integration on the receiving side of things are more along the lines of: Can correspondence automatically be added to the patient in question within the Practice Management Software? This will not be possible until MyHR numbers are the norm, which is still a few years away based on the speed of its adoption and our talks with them so far.
