Install the Mac virtual printer

What is the virtual printer?

The Mac virtual printer allows Mediref to integrate with your patient management system via a printer driver. In simpler terms, any document/file that has a print button, can be easily pulled into Mediref with just a couple of clicks. Like this:

Steps to install:

1. If you have not yet done so, download the zip file containing the virtual printer from here - downloads.mediref.com.au/Mediref+Printer+For+Mac.workflow.zip
2. Double click on the zip file to extract the virtual printer.
   
   

   

3. It will extract a file called - "Mediref Printer For Mac.workflow". Double click on this newly extracted file.
4. You will be asked whether you wish to install the "Mediref Printer for Mac print plugin". Click on "Install"
   

   

That's it, you're done!

Whenever you see the print dialog now, you have the option to open the dropdown and select 'Mediref Printer for Mac':
